FLEA MARKET #1
September 13, 2019 - Our class held a Flea Market in the classroom Friday afternoon. The purpose is to use our class money to buy and sell little trinkets and other knick-knacks the students have at home. During the process of buying and selling, students are required to calculate prices, add, subtract, divide, multiply, give correct change, and wisely use their money to make more money or to bargain, auction, and buy things they like. This is a great way to learn how to use money to calculate purchases. We had a lot of fun buying/selling and learning to run a business. We planned to have another Flea Market Friday in December.
